| It’s funny how some places
can leave you feeling good,
just by going there.
Tucked away amidst
the mountains and
rivers of North
Vancouver, the
Edgemont
Village is home
to a special
place that has
been attracting
a growing
following among
visitors and locals
alike: Giftworks,
at 3080 Edgemont
Boulevard.
As soon as you walk
through the door at Giftworks,
you can feel a positive energy in
the air. Maybe it’s the multi-level
layout, maybe it’s the assortment of
one-of-a-kind gift ideas, maybe it’s
the way the people who work there
go out of their way to make you feel
welcome, but whatever it is, you
can’t help smiling.
Roberta Perrin is the driving force behind Giftworks. She makes it
her mission to search out unique local suppliers and artisans so that
everyone who walks through her door will find something they just
can't get anywhere else. |

But there’s something else. The
people at Giftworks really love what
they do, and it shows.
“It’s the feeling,” says Roberta.
“It’s a really positive place to be.
We have regular customers that
pop their heads in when they’re in
the area just to say ‘hello’ and they
always leave with smiles on their
faces. That’s what I want more than
anything else, whether they buy
anything or not. I want people to
leave with a smile.”
It’s a unique idea-a gift shop that
spreads the greatest gift of all, free
of charge: happiness. Drop in and
see for yourself.
